WRATH

I think this Donut War is getting out of hand.

My grandson, Angelo was visiting all the way from Albuquerque and see.... we had a tussle over the donuts. Imagine!

I saw Kelley MacDonald had another slam-dunk today with a German Chocolate and glazed donut.
Oh, no!

And here I was too busy eating and swatting Angelo to paint.
(Did this image put the fear into you Kelley?)

But rest assured, tomorrow is another day.

So watch out Kelley - I'm coming for you!

  2. If there must be war, why not a donut one. I just love the fun .

  3. I say this: Angelo... what you need to do is create a DIVERSION! Then, when she's otherwise engaged, grab that pink one - I definitely will fall down if she paints something like THAT!
(Seriously, say that someone's pulled everything up out of the garden, or everything in the dishawasher is broken, or there's a 'funny smell' coming from the basement (or attic...) - help me out here... and you get a donut!
    :)
    S-h-a-k-in-g, Susan....

  4. I think it is hysterical that you even got your grandson involved in the war...Angelo has a funny granny!

  5. Oh, I even got my grand daughter - she'll pop up later. Believe me, they loved eating my props!

Thanks everyone and Kelley glad your shaking.

  6. Too funny!
I live right down the street from the glazed jellies. It's tough knowing they're there and I cannot afford the calories ;)

  7. Hi Mary! Thanks for commenting on my donut war - so fun! And discovered your blog now.
Love your fauvist color palette - similar to my dear friend, Peggy Zuris who passed away 2 years ago. Fond memories.
