Yellow Fields is a depiction of the desert grasslands 
surrounding the Chiricahua National Monument,
wonderland of towering rocks and trails


Unfortunately the National Landmark is threatened by 
the Horseshoe 2 fire raging in Southern Arizona and 
closed temporarily.

There's so much to explore at the Monument! One is nestled 
within the Monument is Faraway Ranch Historic District
home in the Bonita Canyon to Swedish immigrants, 
Neil and Emma Erickson. Built in the late 1880's, it then 
operated as a guest ranch from 1917 to 1972. Tours are 
available or guests may roam the grounds on their own.
