ALWAYS A SILVER LINING

DRIPPING
4 1/2" X 4 1/2" pastel
8" square archival white matte, glass + gold frame
SOLD - PRIVATE COLLECTOR

It was late afternoon and . . .

the sun was blazing . . .
as I withered from the scorch.

The heat parched my mouth . . .
as I walked.

Yet a beauty I behold . . .
from an illusion that lightened my step.

The orange clouds appeared to melt before my eyes.

TELL ME A STORY

ALEX'S SUNSET
pastel
SOLD - PRIVATE COLLECTOR

It was still early and all was quiet.

But the show just begun as the clouds
darted throughout the evening sky.

Animal-like, the colorful wisps raced
and the sky blazed.

Flashing and luminous they illuminated
the coast with their reflections.

Breathe-taking to nary a soul.

Yet one could imagine . . . thank you Alex.

18"h x 22"w gold leaf frame + museum glass
$825 - tax and shipping inclusive

The past week I have posted of the Arizona fires and
just now have read that the damage historically has
surpassed all previous fires within that state. The good
news is that they now have started to contain the fire,
so hopefully the destruction is will be ending.

Arizona Column is a depiction of Arizona's landscape
of blue skies with billowy, white clouds gracing
towering rocks.

There's so much to explore at the Monument! One is nestled
within the Monument is Faraway Ranch Historic District

Neil and Emma Erickson. Built in the late 1880's, it then
operated as a guest ranch from 1917 to 1972. Tours are

BEFORE THE SMOKE

BLUE CLOUDS*
25"h X 18"w pastel
* Courtesy of Tirage Gallery

Blue Clouds is a typical scene throughout
New Mexico, with clouds bursting in the
sunny skies. But with dismay I have been
reading about the fires racing throughout
southern Arizona and now the smoke has
spread to Albuquerque.

My heart goes out to all, with hopes
 that all are safe.

STUMBLED . . . AND SHE'S UP!

GOLDEN SIMPLICITY
25"h x 17"w pastel
SOLD - PRIVATE COLLECTOR

Currently I have been reevaluating my direction,
for have lost my step. And that's such a problem!
Not uncommon for months ago, I relayed of always
tripping while gazing at the clouds.
Such a klutz . . . but that's a different kind of stumbling.

And with life's challenges and twists, one can
get blinded so easily. I have never had a problem with
creativity, yet the valuable commodity of time has
always restricted me.

So I am refocusing, redeveloping and refining . . .
like cleaning a house.

Feels like a fresh breathe of spring air in my studio!
