A heavy sadness was his shroud, that cloaked his torn heart.

So as a fitting ending to the exhibit, I will be in the gallery on Sunday, the 28th from 11 am to 6 pm.  And Lights at Sunset is one of the pastels on exhibit. PASTEL SKETCH (detail) Monday evening was truly sad for for all Americans.  Our hearts go out to Boston, the racers and their families. So Monday evening I took a reprieve by drawing. Soothed my soul by escaping.

SPRECKELS 20" h x 16" w pastel This is a side wing to the Spreckels Organ Pavillion located at San Diego's Balboa Park. The ornate trim work  is so fascinating! The organ was donated by John D.
