SUSAN'S . . . PLAYING AGAIN!

A WILDERNESS PATH 8"h x 16"w pastel  Encountered through the years, many who've commented  that the Southwest landscape was visually dark and brown.  I find that so amazing for have always found  between the skies and land the colors rampant and vivid. 

THE SKY CRIED 12"h x 14" w pastel  Moods were skewed . . . and rampant. Swinging violently . . . up and down.  And the clouds cried.

YELLOW + ROSES 25"h x 15" w I know I have been quiet in my corner but plodding along. So many exciting things coming up!  And one is that the above pastel Yellow + Roses is one of two paintings that will be on exhibit at The Salmagundi Art Club  in New York City. I am honored to be a juried member of the  Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and this exhibit is their Annual Members Show. Now if only I could package myself within the box and go to New York too. Now how exciting would that be?

STRANDS 11" x 14" pastel Rivers of blue . .  . streaming throughout the sky. Akin to water . . . ebbing with the tide. Swaying and undulating with time.

PINK SPLIT 6" x 6" pastel Lingering . . . for quite some time.  Shadowed, hot, moody . . . marked my spirits. Slowly . . . a break is felt. Lightness approaching!
