DARK WITH HOPE- 6 x 6 pastel

DARK WITH HOPE 6" x 6" pastel, glass + gold frame $295 + $15 insured priority shipping Heat . . . hot . . . fire . . . dark was my mood that overshadowed the day. Yet a glimmer of white topped the clouds, which brightened the day. May your day be bright!

AN ORANGE CARESS

A JOURNEY OF HOPE 6" square, glass + gold frame SOLD - PRIVATE COLLECTOR The darkened clouds cascaded down .   Determined  yet with hesitant steps  I traveled the road. Questions and doubts were quickly erased  as  the orange glow caressed me.  Hope....

SOFT GLOW

ROAD OF HOPE 6" x 6" pastel 12" archival white matte, glass + gold leaf frame $300 + $25 insured priority shipping  Ahead I see a well-worn journeyed road.  D ays as well as nights of each season,  many have traveled. The light glows ever so softly, yet all  seem acclimated to the twists and turns.  Hope... washes away times of trouble.

THANKS AS A MOM

HOPE 12"h x 9"w, pastel + gold leaf Collection of Noah & Angela Roden Today is Mothers Day, which I look at as not a day for adoration of Moms, yet a day for me to give thanks. I marvel at my blessings in having two wonderful children, Becca and Noah and very proud of their maturity and the individuals that they have become. I admire their families and the values they instill. And I feel a deep appreciation in knowing that they would both be by my side in time of troubles. Thank you.

DOWNFALL

DOWNFALL pastel- 11"h x 14"w SOLD - PRIVATE COLLECTOR Believe it or not, I have been painting even with all  my racing around - hard to believe, but true. I usually work simultaneously on about 9 paintings mounted on a wall  easel, with different due dates for each. May be a delusion, but I feel  I do not overwork the pastels when I work on many. Much of my current focus is work for my solo June show, Frayed , to be held at Ray Street Custom Framing and Gallery . The work will be a collection of reconstructed baby dolls and pastels, with the premise that there is always a glimmer of hope on the horizon. This sunset Downfall, is one of the pastel pieces to be included. Hope you enjoy the view!
