MOTHER NATURE has gone to a new home!

MOTHER NATURE upcycled mixed media sculpture SOLD  I truly love this little lady, yet happy to see  that she's  going to a new home. Mother Nature has been sold!  This fiery little lady will be residing in Taos in a  private collection.  She was recently one of the collected art pieces within  the play, Diptych' written by Mark Dunn, performed by  Albuquerque's Kathleen Welker and produced by the Aux Dog Theatre in Albuquerque.

Premiere Opening of 'Diptych' at Aux Dog Theatre on Jan 11th!

MY CUP IS 1/2 FILLED          DAWN OF PUBERTY 12"h x 12"w pastel                             13"h x 12"w pastel        20" x 20" mat, glass + gilded frame     22"h x 22"w mat, glass + gilded frame I'm so honored to have been introduced by VJ Liberatori  of the  Aux Dog  Theatre  to playwright Mark Dunn in a  collaboration of an original play that merges theatre  with fine arts. And an unique aspect of  Diptych  is that this  production is immersive, with audience participation  within the setting.  This fictional tale is a geography of a Mother -played  by Kathleen Welker- and daughter's relationship.  My art represents the daughter whom is an artist. Dunn's play, Diptych is the featured piece  within ABQ Solofest, an annual festival throughout...

OH NO! where's my hands?

I love gifts from my friends! One of my playmates and artist friend Nancy, gave me  this sweet little stem of a squash. We marveled over how  body-like it was shaped, so I searched for an appropriate  little doll head to go with it. Now I just need to find little hands to finish her  itty-bitty body. I do have grand visions for this little  girl, so will keep you posted! Lovely day everyone!

BODY PARTS FLYING ONCE AGAIN... OH MY!

DAY OF DOLLS, JOEL AND FUN! Yesterday I met up with a a very talented artist and friend,  Joel Sharp and we played with dolls. Well... we weren't really playing with them, but rather  chopping them up. - Hey, ... I heard that shriek out there -  Recently I received some beautiful Japanese dolls from  my friend, Linda and have to admit I was a bit hesitant in  hacking away. But those scissors were calling me and Joel  is so fun. His imagination and creativity astounds me.  At this time my little babies are a work in progress, so will keep you updated. But for now, remember a person  really needs to play. And it's always more fun with two!
