EVENING BLAZE 
6" x 6" pastel, glass + 12" square gold frame
Sold - Private Collector
Heavy and ominous 
were the mass of clouds as darkness fell.

Yet aglow and bright the sky flamed 
from the quick descent of the sun. 

Passion was the night.

    I love the dark, but intense colors in this and the way the landscape appears almost to be a reflection of the sky. Very dramatic!
