and peered from underneath the fringed lashes. 

Wary . . . 
from the unknown.

Hidden . . . 
from the world.

Just a subtle security.

    Absolutely beautiful. This looks like a self portrait. If my furnace had not just broke down, Iwould buy it cuz, it would remind me of you daily. Has anyone esle said that it looks like you?
