SUMMER SHOWCASE at Patrician Design in Albuquerque.

The exhibit jumpstarts on the celebration of summer!

I'll be in the company of illustrator Zahra Marwan and

Oil Painter Jordan Caldwell, whom I am excited to meet.

Opening reception is Friday, June 21st from 5:30 to 8:30pm

at 216 Gold Ave SW, Albuquerque, 87102.

Always a fun-filled evening on Patrician Design's openings,

Battle of the Brands with donuts and cupcakes! Slinging going on from the East Coast to the West Coast . . . what a sticky mess! Sure Kelley MacDonald will be slamming me with a jelly donut . . . or two or three stacked oh, so high! But wait . . . also Mary Sheehan Winn has jumped into this ruckus . . . and shown her sportsmanship but tossing little munchkins into the ring last week. What's a gal to do? I say sit back and catch a couple of these tasty morsels flying bye. Yum!

SUMMER PASTEL CLASSES!

PINK FIELDS 12" x 9" pastel on canvas panel PRIVATE COLLECTOR I'm teaching "Introduction to Pastels" once again at UCSD Extension this summer and will be covering a whole array of techniques from washes, to layering and strokes and in various genres. "PINK FIELDS" was the demo piece in illustrating washes on textured panels in an impressionistic style.
