Patti Harrell Hoech - who I adore! - is the owner of Patrician Design 
in Albuquerque. The eclectic boutique houses original fine art, unique 
gifts and home decor. 

Patti is also an award winning Interior Designer who maintains the 
blog Patti Says...   January 9th she posted a piece titled 
which she mentions my cupcakes :

 "So we have joined the ranks with our indulgent collection 
of confections by Susan Roden who renders these delicate 
temptations in soft, swirling pastels beautiful enough to eat, 
offering the viewer an escape into amorous indulgence." 

Is that cool, or what?

SUMMER PASTEL CLASSES!

PINK FIELDS 12" x 9" pastel on canvas panel PRIVATE COLLECTOR I'm teaching "Introduction to Pastels" once again  at UCSD Extension this summer and will be covering  a whole array of techniques from washes, to layering  and strokes and in various genres.
