ReplyDeletewhat a stunner! the light and color is wonderful
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is one of my favorites too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunner indeed! This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the way you've contrasted the light and dark and the terrific crop on the flowers and shadow. The way you've split the background adds great drama. And that shimmering light at the bottom of the vase. Aaaaaahhhhhhhh....the magic that pulls it all together perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Gwen.
ReplyDeleteThe painting is currently on display at Tirage Gallery in Pasadena, CA, for the exhibit Unique Visions. I hadn't seen the painting in awhile, so was thrilled to revisit it at the Artists Reception on May 21st.
