What a cutie! I'm impressed that with all the textural strokes you have going on in this painting that your subject still stands out from the background. Nicely done!
GLOW 11" x 14" soft pastel SOLD - private collector So nice this pastel went to a wonderful home! Now I'll live in my memories of the Petrified Forest National Park, where I did a residency and was the inspiration for this painting. Thank you!
GLOW 11"h x 14"w pastel black with gold trim frame sold - private collector Night fell fast. The lower half of a thick strand of dark clouds turned blazing-red from the sun as it dropped to the horizon. And the night glowed.
BATTLE OF THE BRANDS! CIRCLES + A STAR 6" x 6" pastel 10" square archival white matt, glass + black frame $295 + $15 insured priority shipping Monday is roaring up quickly and you know what that means . . . Battle of the Brands with donuts and cupcakes! Slinging going on from the East Coast to the West Coast . . . what a sticky mess! Sure Kelley MacDonald will be slamming me with a jelly donut . . . or two or three stacked oh, so high! But wait . . . also Mary Sheehan Winn has jumped into this ruckus . . . and shown her sportsmanship but tossing little munchkins into the ring last week. What's a gal to do? I say sit back and catch a couple of these tasty morsels flying bye. Yum!
