2 + A HOLE PRIVATE COLLECTOR Okey, I have been challenged by fellow Daily Painters Original Artist, Kelly MacDonald , so am throwing down my drawing gloves. (Feel like it's almost a Bobby Flay Throwdown! , but a battle of the donuts instead.) Wednesday, July 21st was such a very memorable day! At the right is one sample of the art project I conducted for the  Pasadena Museum of History's  The Artists' Workshop .  The event was a free, summer hands-on, art program specifically for children six to ten years old. After a presentation  focusing on color and composition,  we proceeded to the Museum's Fenyes Estate Gardens, where t he children created florals of cut paper and colored pencils .

MIST ABOVE 2 RIDGES 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" pastel I peered down the chasm as I stood atop the ridge so tall. Glancing laterally, I spotted a second uninhabited ridge. Yet within minutes the misty clouds dropped from the blue sky. Was my vision a dream?

PASADENA MUSEUM OF HISTORY WEDNESDAY, JULY 21st I am one of four Artists selected for the Pasadena Museum of History's The Artists' Workshop . This is a free summer hands-on, art program designed for children six to ten years old. On July 21st I will be focusing on florals, color and composition with the children. After a presentation and exercise, all will proceed to paint in the Fenyes Estate Gardens. It's time to play in the summer - please join in !

Twisting, turning and flying, the darkened clouds rolled along. While the clouds tumbled, the air cleared. Then I detected a scent.... rain on the horizon.
