  2. OK, OK, I'm spellbound... Seriously, this is freaking amazing! Even for YOU! Wow. Double WOW. If this doesn't sell right off the wall I'll eat my winter hat. (OK, I'll let Paco eat it, but still..)

  3. I'm touched by both of your comments - thank you Linda and Kelley!

The glass ornament was very difficult to render but am pleased with the end results.

(And it's starting to get cold out there, so hope you don't eat your hat Kelley.(

  4. Oooooo so very cool. Now this is one that I will have to swing by the gallery and see for my self.

  5. This is very believable as a glass ornament. It is so shimmery and delicate looking. It looks so fragile with the ribbon gently floating around the heart. Nice painting!
I made it to California, last minute, my husband had a week off and we decided to take our 23 year old. He has been to So. CA., but not north. He is a surfer and chef, and is thinking of moving there. We did a whirl wind, wine country, Sonoma coast, SF and Santa Cruz. I want to live in every spot we visited (other than the city).
Sorry it wasn't San Diego to visit you, maybe next time!! Thanks for your comment!

  7. Thanks everyone!
This little heart is rendered all in soft pastels - there is no gold leaf - so was quite an ordeal.
And Mary Anne it sounds as if all of you had the time of your lives! Beautiful country.
