REGAL RED 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" pastel 8" square archival white matte, glass + gold leaf frame $150 + $15 insured priority shipping  Discovered this little piece of royalty at Heavenly Cupcake ,  a new shop   at San Diego's downtown Gaslamp District.  This little sweet cake is a banana chip topped with buttercream  frosting and a chocolate dipped banana chip on top!  So as the Contessa learns some new tricks  at her workshop, I will just sit back and munch  on this little treat.. happy day!

The Contessa hit me with a double-decker of jellies and a Dunkin' Donuts coffee cup-to-boot.   What a way to wake up this morning. . . and her little gem is so good! So I slipped and slid through gooey chocolate to retaliate.  Take that Kelley!

CUPCAKE EARRINGS TO DIE FOR! Frosting, frosting everywhere..  I spy a wonderful blog centered out of NY  that is all about cupcakes.  Check them out at: http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com/ I've gone to heaven and rolled over in batter and frosting. And glory to the heavens ... we just might have another Donut War ! I heard a little birdie tweet that the Contessa just may jump  right back into flinging frosting. In fact, expect a jelly splat tomorrow. So I absolutely must be dressed to the 'nines to resume the battle. What better way than cupcake earrings?

Big, soft, thick donuts one can sink their teeth into.    Hope this inspires the Contessa  to jump back into the Donut War. (Maybe if we say pretty please?)
