You asked if I use a limited palette, and yes, I usually use the limited palette for sunny pictures, but change it when I am painting the rainy moody scenes. Still mostly doing a lot of experimenting though!
Nothing like dreaming sun and frolicking in the waves when it's chilly outside. Okey, we're really spoiled in California and such whiners- sure glad there is no snow.

Delight is right. The composition is wonderful and just directs your eye up the waves to the kids. Beautiful color play in the water.
